From September 18-20 the gates of Messe Stuttgart were opened again for the butcher's trade. Nobody knew whether the fair could be successful under the prevailing conditions. But the courage to open a trade fair to visitors again with increasing numbers of infections paid off. The halls weren't as busy as in previous years, but the visitors who faced the 3G requirements were always interested and there were great conversations with potential and existing customers.
The FESSMANN stand, which was one of the only ones to provide a well thought-out hygiene concept, was also very well received by customers and was well attended almost at all times. The very prominent T3000 was an eye-catcher and was supplemented by its little brother - the T1900 - and the Rotatherm Carat baking chamber, so that the optimal solution could be presented in detail for all target groups. The corresponding smoke generators were also all on board.
"The trend of self-marketing was finding its way into the future customer base" noted Martin Kirchdörfer. Many of the visitors want to follow the trend of sustainability and further expand their own farm by not only raising the animals but also wanting to do the processing themselves. Of course, this also includes a smoke system. FESSMANN, as the market leader in the handicraft sector, provides the right solution here and, in addition to the right equipment, can also provide customers with the right advice that is necessary for the new entry into the thermal processing of food.
All in all, the mood was good and the potential for good follow-up business was absolutely there. We are already looking forward to IFFA in May 2022, for which planning has already begun. Anyone who has not dared to do it now is welcome to join us from May 14th to 19th. come to visit in hall 12.
